All education and treatment programs and services offered to
inmates and detainees at the Jail and House of Correction are
provided by employees or contractors of the Human Services
Division.
In addition to managing a caseload of about 200 inmates,
the Human Services Division provides a comprehensive range of
programs and services including:
vocational and academic education; mental health
counseling; casework services; substance abuse treatment; HIV/AIDS
education; inmate legal services; religious services; volunteer
services and, medical services.
(It is noteworthy that the medical services unit has
received full accreditation by the National Commission on
Correctional Healthcare).

Programs”, which is provided to each new admission to the
facility, contains detailed information about the programs and
